(Oct-17-07) Andrea Tomberg, a town woman, brought a lawsuit against Daniel Hendrie, a police officer, alleging that he rear-ended her sport utility vehicle with his cruiser en route to an emergency call in Chickahominy. Tomberg was driving northbound on Hamilton Avenueon April 6, 2004, in her Lexus SUV when Hendrie's police cruiser struck the right rear corner of her vehicle. She complained of head and neck pain and was treated at Greenwich Hospital. Hendrie was also treated for neck and back pain.
As part of a settlement reached, the Board of Estimate and Taxation unanimously approved paying Tomberg $270,000 to settle the lawsuit she brought against the town. The Board of Selectmen had already agreed to the settlement, which requires final approval from the Representative Town Meeting Claims Committee. Sources stated that the $270,000 will come out of the town's $2.9 million risk fund. [GREENWICH TIME: REAR ENDED]

One thing that confuses me about this video and related comments is the suggestion that the audience is 'pre-empting' the pentatonic scale. While they certainly do pre-empt the major third, which is fascinating in itself (and i suspect there are myriad theories as to why this happens, both cultural and physical), all other notes in the pentatonic scale are introduced by Bobby first, before the audience sings them. Therefore, the audience is merely replicating the notes on demand, and in different octave registers, so I fail to see how this demonstration shows the "deep connection between the pentatonic scale and the human brain"
